Overview

The Hooker Competition Long Tube Headers are a ceramic-coated exhaust component designed for 1965-1974 Ford F-100/F-150/F-250 (2WD) and 1967-1974 Ford F-350 (2WD) trucks with 352-390 FE block engines. These headers feature 1.75" O.D. x 24" tuned-length primary tubes and a 2.5" collector.

Constructed from durable 16-gauge mild steel, they utilize mandrel-bent tubing for smooth exhaust flow and a long transition collector to reduce back pressure and increase exhaust flow. The headers have a 5/16" machined flange for a secure seal and come with all necessary hardware for installation.

These headers are designed for 1965-1974 Ford F-100/F-150/F-250 models with 2WD and 352-390 FE block engines, as well as 1967-1974 Ford F-350 models with 2WD and the same engine displacement. Constructed from durable 16-gauge mild steel, these headers feature tuned-length primary tubes measuring 1.75" O.D. x 24" for optimal performance. The long transition collector measures 2.5" and is designed to decrease back pressure and increase exhaust flow. They boast 5/16" thick machined flanges for a perfect sealing surface and are finished with a heat-cured, ceramic coating for durability and resistance to high temperatures. All necessary hardware, including gaskets or seals, is included for a complete installation. It is important to note that these headers are designated for "Racing Use Only Vehicles" and are not legal for sale or use on emissions-controlled vehicles. They will not fit passenger car heads or Super Camper Special models. Furthermore, breaking in an engine with ceramic-coated headers will damage the coating and void all warranties. Hooker recommends using cast iron exhaust manifolds or old headers during the engine break-in period. The use of header wraps is also not recommended as it can cause the header tubes to crack or rust and will void the warranty. These long tube headers do not include header reducers.
