Competition Plenum

The IPD 87482 Competition Plenum is a high-performance intake upgrade for Porsche 987.2 DFI models. This innovative plenum employs a patented "Y" design and an enlarged plenum area to facilitate improved and less turbulent air flow. By replacing the factory "T" style air distributor, the IPD plenum promotes a more efficient supply of fresh air to the engine. This Competition Plenum is designed to work with the larger 82mm 997 GT3 throttle body, which is a required upgrade for installation. The system is engineered for direct bolt-on fitment on 2.9L and 3.4L engines. Installation requires an E-Torx 10 tool and involves properly seating the plenum onto the intake manifolds. Users can expect noticeable gains in power and torque, with claims of up to 20+ HP and 15+ ft-lb of torque.
