The FIGS Engineering Lexus RC F & IS500 Competition Radiator represents a significant upgrade over the OE cooling system, developed in collaboration with CSF Race. This competition radiator is engineered to enhance thermal management for the 5.0L V8 engines found in the Lexus RC F (1st Gen, 2015-2025) and Lexus IS500 (3rd Gen, 2022-2025). The core design features a 2-Row, 42mm high-performance setup utilizing CSF's exclusive B-tube technology. The radiator is equipped with ultra-efficient 5mm tall fins in a multi-louvered design, maximizing surface area contact for up to a 15% increase in efficiency. This advanced core technology helps to keep operating temperatures in check and reduces heat soak, especially beneficial when managing heat from the transmission. A key feature is the integrated transmission cooler core, which serves a dual purpose of fluid preheat and coolant coupling. This integrated design offers a significant advantage over secondary transmission coolers by tying into the main radiator's cooling capacity, potentially reducing the need for a separate, larger transmission cooler and improving overall cooling recovery. The radiator is constructed with satin-finish aluminum endtanks, 100% TIG welded, and pressure tested to 35 Psig for durability and reliability. Installation is designed as a true plug-and-play, "drop-in fit" solution, requiring absolutely no modifications. It includes all necessary connections and mounts for the AC-condenser and the OE fan shroud, ensuring a straightforward replacement process. The radiator also features a hex-style drain plug and a screw-in vent plug for ease of maintenance. The FIGS branding adds a touch of authenticity to this high-performance cooling component.
