The Evolution Racewerks Competition Series Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) Kit is engineered to be the ultimate cooling solution for the Audi B7 A4 2.0T. This kit introduces a massive 20"x11"x3" (24"x11"x3" with end tanks) high-density bar and plate intercooler core, boasting 660 cubic inches of volume, designed to effectively cool intake air temperatures to near ambient levels and combat heat soak. The rolled intercooler end tank design is welded and features a port-polished interior for enhanced flow. This comprehensive kit replaces every OEM intercooler component with all-aluminum hard piping, optimizing airflow for high-horsepower applications. The piping features beaded ends, silicone hump hoses, and T-bolt clamps to ensure secure connections under boost. The charge pipe diameter is 2.25" while the cold pipe diameter is 2.5", designed to match higher flow rates from big turbo upgrades, improving response and reducing turbo lag. The kit thoughtfully maintains all factory components, including fog lights, horn, and water squirters, while retaining the OEM side fog light covers and lower center grill for an integrated look. Additionally, it includes a replacement external power steering cooler kit, a more efficient unit that replaces the OEM power steering line and helps prolong the life of the power steering pump. All necessary hardware for installation is provided. Designed for competition, this intercooler is capable of supporting over 600hp and is described as the last intercooler you will ever need.
