The Evolution Racewerks BM-EXH018 is a 4.5" catless downpipe designed for the BMW B58 engine. It is compatible with 2016+ F2x M240i and M240iX models, as well as 2015+ F3x 340i and 340iX models. This downpipe is constructed with competition series components.

The Evolution Racewerks Competition Series 4.5" Catless Downpipe is engineered to significantly enhance performance for BMW models featuring the B58 six-cylinder turbo engine. This high-flow downpipe directly addresses horsepower and torque limitations imposed by the restrictive factory catalytic converter. By removing this bottleneck, the Competition Series downpipe allows for increased exhaust flow, resulting in substantial gains throughout the powerband, not just at peak RPM. Constructed from 100% stainless steel and precision TIG welded, this 4.5" diameter downpipe features mandrel-bent piping for smooth transitions and reduced turbulence. The design enhances maximum horsepower, delivers higher initial torque that engages faster and lasts longer, and improves overall throttle response while reducing turbo lag. It includes a precision CNC machined V-Band flange for a secure connection to the turbocharger and is compatible with both factory and aftermarket exhaust systems. Available in a standard brush finish or an optional polish finish, the downpipe can also be specified with a high-temperature black thermal coating to help reduce underhood temperatures. For those requiring advanced engine monitoring, optional Bungs for wideband O2 sensors and EGT gauges are available, each coming with a pre-installed plug. All necessary hardware for a complete installation is included.
