The Evolution Racewerks Competition Series 4" Catless Downpipe is engineered to enhance the performance of BMW B46 US Spec four-cylinder turbo engines, fitting models from 2016-2024, including the 230i, 330i, 430i, 530i, X3 30i, X4 30i, and Z4 30i/20i. This downpipe is constructed from 100% stainless steel and features 100% TIG welds for superior quality and durability. It incorporates a 4-inch mandrel-bent piping and a precision CNC machined turbocharger V-Band flange, along with a CNC machined ball joint flange designed for smoother exhaust flow. This catless design significantly reduces exhaust flow restrictions caused by the factory catalytic converter, which the manufacturer claims can result in average horsepower gains of 14-16 whp and torque gains of 20 wtq (stock boost) up to over 24 wtq with software upgrades. Drivers may experience improved throttle response and faster turbo spool times due to the increased flow and reduced backpressure. Available options include a brushed finish, a polished finish, and a high-temperature black thermal coating to reduce underhood temperatures.
