The Evolution Racewerks Competition Series Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) is engineered to enhance cooling efficiency for BMW 135i, 1M, and 335i models equipped with N54 or N55 engines. Developed over a year of rigorous testing, including track conditions, this intercooler utilizes a massive 20"x11"x3" high-density bar and plate core, providing 660 cubic inches of volume, which is 35% larger than the factory core. The core features a fin density of 18-20 fins per square inch, maximizing heat transfer and combating heat soak more effectively than lower-density cores. This kit replaces OEM rubber hoses with complete all-aluminum intercooler piping, featuring beaded ends, silicone "hump" hoses, and T-bolt clamps to ensure secure connections under boost. Installation is designed as a 100% bolt-on process, maintaining all factory components without requiring modifications. The intercooler is Made in the USA and comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This product is intended for OFF ROAD COMPETITION USE ONLY and is not legal for use on pollution-controlled vehicles upon public roads or highways. It is for sale for all 49 states excluding California and is explicitly not for sale, installation, or use on licensed vehicles in the state of California.
