The Evolution Racewerks Competition Series Mid Pipe is engineered to replace the factory secondary catalytic converter on 2020–2022 BMW 330i and 430i vehicles with B46 or B48 engines (G20/G22 chassis). By removing the secondary catalytic converter, the system reduces exhaust backpressure, resulting in faster turbo spool and a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note. The assembly is constructed from 100% 304 stainless steel and features TIG-welded precision CNC flanges for durability and consistent fitment. Installation is designed as a direct, bolt-in process that utilizes existing OEM hangers and flanges, requiring no cutting or welding. The system is approximately 8 pounds lighter than the factory mid pipe, contributing to improved vehicle balance. Each kit includes the necessary gaskets, hardware, and clamps for assembly. Compatibility is limited to 2020–2022 BMW 330i and 430i models with B46/B48 engines; it is not compatible with models requiring secondary catalytic converter retention for emissions compliance.
