Competition Upper Control Arm Kit

The Steeda 555-4107 is a competition-grade upper control arm upgrade kit designed for Ford Mustang models from 2005 to 2010. It also includes a robust chassis mount made from stout 1/4" thick steel, which is twice the thickness of the original factory component. The inclusion of two mounting locations allows for greater adjustability, further enhancing traction and overall handling performance. This specific competition version utilizes a solid rod end, which, while effective for performance, is noted to increase NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) during street use. Therefore, it is recommended for competition applications. For those seeking a balance between performance and daily drivability, Steeda offers a dual-purpose street/competition version that employs a three-piece bushing package on the axle end to minimize NVH. It is important to note that the Steeda 555-4107, along with the 555-4108, does not require the use of Steeda's stepped spacers, as they come with their own all-new chassis mounts. These spacers are designed to address an issue with the OEM upper chassis mount where the 14mm bolt does not fully seat in the 16mm opening, potentially causing clunking with urethane bushings.
