Complete Axle Assembly

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2111H is a remanufactured complete axle assembly specifically designed for GM 7.5" Astro and Safari vans manufactured between 1985 and 1995. This unit comes with a 3.42 gear ratio (GU6 option) and is built for configurations without rear ABS sensors and those utilizing fiberglass leaf springs. It is important to note that this axle assembly is for models without Posi Traction and does not include essential components such as hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which must be sourced separately. Zumbrota Drivetrain emphasizes rigorous remanufacturing standards for their axle assemblies. Each unit undergoes thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are meticulously inspected and tested. To ensure longevity and reliability, all bearings and seals are replaced, and gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, with backlash set precisely for proper lubrication and quiet operation. The axle tubes are also inspected and straightened to OEM specifications. Zumbrota employs a proprietary cleaning process that includes hydro-blasting, rinsing, and sandblasting, followed by a deep cleaning treatment to restore cases to their original OEM finish. This commitment to quality in remanufacturing aims to set the standard for axle assembly rebuilds. The RAA435-2111H is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
