The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1840A is a remanufactured complete axle assembly engineered for specific GM 9.5-inch applications from 1995-1999, including the GM Suburban 1500 2WD models with an 8-lug pattern. This assembly features a 3.42 gear ratio (GU6 option) and a GM 14 Bolt axle type. It is explicitly designed without Posi Traction and does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, requiring these components to be sourced separately. Zumbrota Drivetrain emphasizes rigorous remanufacturing standards for this axle assembly. Each unit undergoes thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are meticulously inspected and tested.
