Show original supplier description
The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-122B-P is a remanufactured complete axle assembly, meticulously rebuilt to high standards of precision and reliability. Each unit undergoes a thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are fully inspected and tested. To ensure longevity and optimal performance, all bearings and seals are replaced, and gears are meticulously inspected for correct tooth contact patterns and rolling torque, with proper gear backlash set for quiet operation and lubrication. This specific assembly features a 3.55 gear ratio for the Chrysler 9.25-inch ring gear. It is equipped with a square brake mounting flange and is compatible with Electronic Stability Program (ESP). The Posi-Traction (LSD) ensures enhanced grip and performance. The axle tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and all housings are cleaned using an advanced hydro-blast and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-peening deep cleaning process to restore them to OEM finish. This axle assembly is designed exclusively for 2007-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD models. It is explicitly stated to be for models *excluding* the Mega Cab. The assembly comes with a 2-year limited warranty. Note that this product does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which must be sourced separately.
