Complete Axle Assembly, 3.73 Ratio

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2111Q is a fully remanufactured complete axle assembly, built to exacting standards for precision and reliability. Each unit undergoes a comprehensive inspection process to ensure straightness, check for cracks, and assess surface wear. Internally, all components, including ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers, are meticulously inspected and tested. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced as part of the remanufacturing process. The gears are carefully examined for optimal tooth contact patterns and set to precise rolling torque specifications using inch-pound measurements to guarantee setup accuracy and longevity. Proper gear backlash is established for efficient lubrication and quiet operation. The axle tubes are inspected and straightened to meet OEM specifications. Zumbrota employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-peening deep cleaning process, setting a high standard for axle assembly remanufacturing. This assembly is specifically designed for GM 7.5" applications, featuring a 3.73 gear ratio (GT4 option) and intended for 1995-2002 GMC Astro and Safari models equipped with 4-wheel ABS. It includes steel leaf springs and is configured without Posi Traction. This assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
