The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1840B-P is a remanufactured complete axle assembly, rebuilt to the highest standards of precision and reliability for GM 9.5" applications. Each assembly undergoes thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear, ensuring quality and longevity. Internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are fully inspected and tested. Zumbrota replaces all bearings and seals, and meticulously inspects gears for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements for precise setup. Correct gear backlash is set to ensure proper lubrication and quiet operation. The remanufacturing process includes inspecting axle tubes for OEM specifications of straightness. Zumbrota utilizes an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning process, setting a high standard for axle assembly remanufacturing. This specific assembly has a 3.73 gear ratio and is configured for 1995-1999 GM Suburban 1500 2WD models with 8 Lug, Posi Traction (G80). It does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
