The Zumbrota Drivetrain Complete Axle Assembly (RAA435-2001) is a remanufactured replacement for 2000-2003 Chrysler 9.25" Van 1500 and 2500 models with a 3.92 gear ratio and 8-lug pattern. This full-floating axle assembly undergoes extensive quality control, including 100% inspection of all internal parts like ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers. To ensure longevity and optimal performance, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The housing cleaning process utilizes state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing to restore an OEM finish, and all tubes are inspected for straightness. It has a fluid capacity of 5.7 quarts, though fluid is not included. The internal parts are 100% inspected, and all bearings and seals are replaced. Gears are meticulously inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, set using inch-pound measurements for precise setup and longevity. Correct gear backlash is established to ensure proper gear lubrication and quiet operation, with axle tubes inspected to meet OEM specifications for straightness. It's important to note that ordering this special item may require providing specific vehicle information, including year, make, model, and VIN, via a SureFit Order Form to ensure correct product application.
