Overview

The Nerd Rods CP5559C4 is a complete frame replacement for 1955, 1956, and 1957 Chevy and GMC Task Force Trucks.

This frame features a Solidworks CAD-designed, CNC laser-cut construction and is available in two ride heights. It incorporates 1984-1996 Corvette independent rear suspension with disc brakes on all four wheels, rack and pinion steering, and QA1 double adjustable coil-over shocks. The frame also includes a limited slip differential.

The Nerd Rods CP5559C4 offers a complete frame replacement solution for 1955, 1956, and 1957 Chevy and GMC Task Force Trucks, designed to upgrade their chassis with modern performance and handling capabilities. This frame is constructed using a Solidworks CAD-designed, CNC laser-cut tubing and plate system, ensuring precision and strength. It features a boxed double rail frame design for enhanced rigidity. This frame kit is engineered to accommodate a 1984-1996 Corvette independent rear suspension, complete with four-wheel disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, and aluminum suspension components. It also includes QA1 double adjustable coil-over shocks and a limited slip differential for optimized performance. Two ride height options are available: an 8"-9" rocker-to-ground height requiring no body modification, or a 4"-5" rocker-to-ground height that necessitates bed and minor cab modifications. Nerd Rods offers the CP5559C4 in various stages, including a "Weld it Yourself Frame" (Stage 1), a "Fully Welded Frame" (Stage 2), a "Rolling Chassis" (Stage 3) with installed C4 Corvette suspension and motor mounts, and a "Running Chassis" (Stage 4) featuring a turn-key LS3 Crate Motor and GMPP Connect and Cruise system. Optional configurations include live axle rear suspension setups and air ride brackets.
