The Chevrolet Performance Complete Oil Pan Swap Kit is engineered as a direct replacement wet sump oil pan for LS2 and LS3 engines, specifically fitting the 2005-2013 Chevrolet Corvette C6. This kit provides superior ground clearance compared to other OEM LS oil pans, making it an excellent option for engine swap projects. The comprehensive kit includes all necessary components for a complete oil system overhaul. You will receive the GM Part # 12624617 wet sump oil pan with gasket and mounting hardware, along with GM Part # 12558189 for the windage tray, GM Part # 12570787 for the oil dipstick tube, GM Part # 12570788 for the oil dipstick, and GM Part # 12624497 for the oil pickup tube. An oil filter bypass cover is also included, though not pictured. This oil pan is compatible with all GM Gen III and IV LS family engines, including popular variants like LS1, LS6, LS2, LS3, LS7, LS9, L76, L98, L92, L93, L99, LQ4, LQ9, LSA, LSX, and V8 Vortec engines. It is interchangeable with GM part number 12598186. While primarily designed for the C6 Corvette, users have successfully adapted it for other applications such as the Trailblazer SS, though modifications to the vehicle's crossmember or AC compressor mount may be required for certain swaps.
