Carrillo connecting rods are performance upgrades for Porsche engines (street/track builds, 7400+ rpm, 400+ hp, track use). They are forged from CP-Carrillo’s proprietary 4330m chromoly steel with a lightweight h-beam design, offering reduced reciprocating mass, increased strength, and durability over stock. They are generally a drop-in upgrade. Custom lengths, wrist pin sizes, and titanium options are available. Bolt options: WMC-H7 (H11 Tool Steel, 220 k psi UTS) for most applications, or CARR-S7 (MP35N, 285k psi UTS) recommended for engines revving over 8500 rpm. Both bolt types feature asymmetrical threads for improved clamp load and fatigue life and are typically reusable. CARR bolts are standard on Porsche 356 and 912 rods.
