Description

This set of 8 CP-Carrillo PRO-H piston connecting rods includes WMC rod bolts. It is a direct replacement for the original connecting rods on the BMW S65 V8 engine. Each CP connecting rod is cut from a forging of Carrilloy, a proprietary steel alloy made with chrome, nickel, moly, and vanadium. CP rods are heat-treated and shot-peened to increase strength and durability. The WMC rod bolts are made from H11 tool steel and are designed to withstand approximately 15-18 torque cycles. This low carbon steel is commonly used on highly stressed structural parts within the aerospace industry. Made in USA.
