The Motorcraft intake manifold, part number 2L1Z-9424-AA, is a genuine OEM engine component designed to restore factory-level performance and airflow efficiency. Its precise internal passage design ensures optimal air distribution to the engine cylinders, promoting efficient combustion under all operating conditions. This unit is a direct-fit replacement for specified Ford and Lincoln 5.4L V8 applications, including 2000-2003 Ford E-150, E-250, E-350, 2002-2003 E-450, 2000-2003 Excursion, 2000-2004 Expedition, 2000-2004 F-150, 2000-2003 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty, and 2000-2002 Lincoln Navigator. It is specifically designed for 5.4L engines and replaces part number YL3Z-9424-CA. Please note that this manifold is sold as a standalone unit. It does NOT include gaskets, hoses, or coil hardware, all of which are sold separately and must be procured for a complete installation. The assembly includes the necessary valley stuffer (6P013). Installation requires the technician to relieve fuel system pressure, drain the cooling system, and follow specific torque sequences to ensure proper sealing against the cylinder heads. We recommend professional installation to avoid common vacuum leak issues.
