Composite Side Splitter Kit

The Verus Engineering Composite Side Splitter Kit is designed to enhance both the appearance and aerodynamic performance of your Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, or Toyota GT86 (ZN6/ZC6). This aerodynamic design works to reduce the amount of high-pressure air that reaches the underside of the vehicle, thereby decreasing lift and drag. The installation process is simplified as the splitters bolt directly to the pinch weld, requiring less invasive modification to the underbody. Utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software and in-house scan data during development, Verus Engineering has optimized the performance of this side splitter kit. The design aims to increase downforce generation and reduce drag, leading to improved overall aerodynamic efficiency. Specific performance data indicates a reduction in vehicle lift by 11 points and drag by 2 points, translating to a decrease in the Coefficient of Lift (cL) by 0.011 and the Coefficient of Drag (cD) by 0.002. The kit includes two Carbon Composite Side Splitters, four Stiff Rubber Side Skirts, two Sheet Aluminum Side Skirt Brackets, and twelve Billet Aluminum Pinch Weld Mounts. A comprehensive hardware kit is provided for a seamless installation. The splitters and skirts are also adjustable, allowing for customization of their position in and out, as well as up and down. Components are constructed from Carbon Thermoplastic, durable abrasion-resistant plastic for the skirts, and Billet 6061-T6 aluminum for the pinch weld mounts, with stainless steel hardware used throughout.
