The Kicker 51CWQ124 CompQ Series subwoofer is engineered to elevate your car audio experience with its robust construction and superior sound reproduction. This 12-inch subwoofer boasts dual 4-Ohm voice coils, offering flexible wiring configurations for optimized amplifier matching. Its ultra-rigid SoloKon™ cone technology, created as a single piece with 360-degree back bracing, ensures maximum stability and distortion-free performance. Designed for durability and prolonged use, the 51CWQ124 incorporates Forced-Air Cooling technology to manage heat effectively, allowing for extended listening sessions without compromising performance. The subwoofer has a sensitivity of 85.4 dB and a frequency response of 20-100 Hz, delivering powerful and precise bass. Installation considerations include a mounting depth of 7-1/8 inches and a mounting diameter of 11-1/16 inches. The subwoofer performs optimally in recommended sealed or ported enclosure specifications, with ranges provided for both. It requires a properly sized enclosure and careful amplifier tuning to prevent distortion, which can be caused by amplifier clipping or excessive gain.
