The Kicker CompR 10-Inch Subwoofer is a 4-ohm dual voice coil (DVC) design, built for robust performance and lasting reliability. This 10-inch subwoofer is optimized to perform best within sealed or ported enclosures, requiring a recommended 400 watts of RMS power. It boasts a peak power handling of 800 watts (per ANSI/CTA-2031-A) and a sensitivity rating of 84.6 dB (1w/1m). The mounting depth is 5-1/4 inches (13.3 cm), with a mounting diameter of 9-1/8 inches (23.1 cm). Recommended enclosure volumes range from 0.8 to 1.25 cubic feet (22.7 to 35.4 L) for sealed boxes, and 1.25 to 1.75 cubic feet (35.4 to 49.6 L) for ported enclosures. It's important to note that the asterisk (*) in performance claims assumes typical music program material with minimal amplifier clipping, and actual results may vary with enclosure size. Additionally, port volume is excluded (**).
