The Kicker CompRT 12" 4 Ohm Subwoofer (model 48CWRT124) is engineered for powerful bass in space-constrained vehicles. Its ultra-thin design allows it to fit under seats or behind back benches, making it ideal for trucks, SUVs, and other applications where mounting depth is a concern, with a mounting depth under four inches. This all-weather subwoofer boasts dual 4-Ohm voice coils and handles up to 500 watts RMS power (1000 watts peak). The construction includes a UV-resistant cone and surround for enhanced durability and longevity, especially in environments exposed to sunlight. Kicker has incorporated several technologies for improved performance and reliability, such as a thick magnet structure for high power handling without increasing depth, and a UniPlate™ back plate and solid pole piece that act as a single heat-absorbing unit for excellent thermal management. The CompRT 12-inch Subwoofer is optimized to work best in a sealed enclosure and requires 500 watts of recommended power. The product comes with a one-year warranty from the date of original purchase when bought from an authorized dealer. Note that performance may vary with enclosure size and assumes typical music program with minimal amplifier clipping; consult your Kicker dealer for specific details. Port volume is excluded from enclosure calculations.
