Overview

The Callies Compstar Gen V crankshaft is a 4.000-inch stroke crankshaft designed for high-output installations. It is made from 4340 steel that is deep nitrided for strength and wearability. The crankshaft features 8 counterweights for enhanced bearing load distribution, allowing it to withstand high boost and high RPM applications. It is machined with large journal radii, gun-drilled mains, and fully lightened rod journals.

Crafted from deep-nitrided 4340 steel, it offers exceptional strength and durability, making it suitable for high-output engine installations. This crankshaft features 8 counterweights designed for superior bearing load distribution, enabling it to endure both high boost and high RPM conditions. Its performance-focused machining includes large journal radii, gun-drilled mains, and fully lightened rod journals. The Compstar 8 counterweight cranks are sold rough balanced to 1850 grams, with options for finish balancing to your specific bob weight. It is designed for GM Gen V LT engines and includes a GM 58X reluctor wheel for compatibility with the engine control system. The dry sump design is also noted for its seamless integration with LS7-style engines, featuring extended length posts.
