The Callies Compstar crankshaft is a robust engine component engineered from 4340 forged steel, offering enhanced strength and durability for demanding applications. Designed specifically for Chevrolet Small Block (SB) engines, it features 350 main bearings and a 2-piece rear main seal configuration. With a 3.480" stroke, this crankshaft is ideal for building a high-performance engine. It incorporates properly placed counterweights that not only optimize balance but also reduce stress on bearings. The deep nitride hardening makes it particularly suitable for abusive environments like dirt track racing. All rod journals are drilled, and the counterweights are profiled to ensure adequate piston clearance. This crankshaft requires narrowed bearings for installation and is sold without main or rod bearings. It is internally balanced and has a standard snout size. The product weighs approximately 50 lbs and is sold as each. Callies offers this component without expressed or implied warranty.
