The Compstar CSD6250GS2E1AH H Beam connecting rods are engineered for high-horsepower stroker engines, designed from the outset to handle demanding performance applications. Constructed from robust forged 4340 steel, these rods offer superior strength and durability. Key specifications include a 6.250-inch center-to-center length, a 2.125-inch rod journal diameter, and a 0.927-inch bushed full floating fit wrist pin. The rods come standard with ARP 7/16 bolts, which provide enhanced tensile strength and clamping force critical for engine reliability under stress. Features like strengthening gussets on the cap's bolt spot-face and contouring above the bolts contribute to increased strength and dimensional stability, while also providing additional cam and bore clearance. Compstar rods are capable of clearing a .660-inch lift cam on a .900-inch base circle with a 4.000-inch stroke crank without modification. The typical weight for a set of 10 is 655 grams.
