Description

The Clevite AL-Series rod bearing is a direct replacement engine bearing designed for specific Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram 4.7L SOHC engines from 1999-2003. It is constructed from a 100 percent lead-free aluminum silicon bi-metal material.

This material contains 60 percent more silicon than leading competitor bi-metal materials, which improves journal surface conditioning. The AL-Series bearings offer enhanced wear resistance and seizure resistance compared to other bi-metal materials. They feature 100 percent bored inside diameters for precision and optimal surface characteristics.
