Description

The Clevite CB-1873HC is a set of engine connecting rod bearings designed for competition engines and NASCAR-style racing. These bearings feature a hardened steel back and thin overlay, with enlarged chamfers for greater crankshaft fillet clearance and are made without flash plating for better seating.

The H series offers a medium level of eccentricity and high crush, while the HX series provides an additional .001" of clearance. Their special coating helps prevent damage during cold starts and oil starvation events, acting as a barrier between the bearing surface and the crank journal.
