Connecting Rods for 1.8T 20V 06A

The CTS Turbo 144x19 tapered rifle drilled connecting rods are engineered as a direct "drop-in" replacement for the 1.8T 20V 06A engine when using stock pistons. Each rod is rifle drilled as standard for improved lubrication, and both the big and small end bores are honed in-house using precision equipment to meet exacting tolerances. A rigorous quality control process is employed, including CMM measurements of critical dimensions and weight matching to within +/- 1 gram for each rod. Genuine ARP 2000 rod bolts are included as standard. Key specifications include a 144mm center-to-center length, a 19mm wrist pin diameter with a tapered style, a 24.90mm big end journal width, and a 50.60mm big end journal diameter. The rod bolts measure 3/8" in diameter. These connecting rods are compatible with the following Audi and VW models equipped with the 06A 1.8T 20V engine (engine codes AMB, ARX, ARY, AUM, AUQ, AWM, AWP, AWW, BJX) and factory pistons with 19mm wrist pins: Audi A4 (2000-2001 B5/B5.5, 2002-2005 B6), Audi A6 (1998-2004 C5), Audi A6 Allroad (1998-2004 C5), Audi TT (2000-2006 MK1/8N), Audi A3 (1996-2003 MK1/8L), VW Golf (1999-2005 MK4), VW GTI (1999-2005 MK4), VW Jetta (1999-2005 MK4), VW Jetta GLI (1999-2005 MK4), and VW Beetle (1998-2011). IMPORTANT FITMENT EXCLUSIONS: These rods are NOT compatible with the AEB engine code, Audi TT225 models, or Audi 058 blocks. They are designed specifically for use with stock pistons featuring 19mm wrist pins.
