Description

The AMTuned connecting rods are the premier choice for S4 4.2L and C5 Allroad owners aiming to achieve significant power gains. Produced by Saenz Performance exclusively for AMTuned, these connecting rods have undergone FEA analysis to ensure they can reliably support up to 225hp per rod, translating to a total confidence of 1,800hp for your 4.2L engine. The center-to-center length is specifically set at 154mm, which is shorter than the factory specification. This design allows for the use of aftermarket pistons with a greater compression height, enabling a traditional three-piece oil ring setup without pin interference. The rods feature a 20mm pin size and come complete with ACL connecting rod bearings. Each rod, including bolts, weighs under 567 grams. AMTuned also offers this product packaged with JE spec pistons under a separate listing. For those with extreme requirements, these connecting rods can also be custom-produced in 300M or Titanium materials upon request and quote.
