The Euro M 13627838085 is an OEM throttle actuator, manufactured by Continental VDO, the original supplier to BMW. It is specifically designed for the E9X M3 models equipped with the S65 V8 engine. This part is a direct replacement for the factory throttle actuators, which are known to be a weak point in these vehicles and can lead to issues such as limp mode, loss of power, and illuminated DSC and EML warning lights. Common fault codes associated with throttle actuator failure include P0638, P0639, 2B21, 2B22, 2B25, and 2B26. It is recommended to replace both throttle actuators on the S65 engine simultaneously, as failure can be sudden and without warning. This actuator is the same for both engine banks and compatible with all E90, E92, and E93 M3 models from 2008-2013. While this item may be subject to supply issues, a Genuine BMW option is also available.
