The KSport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit represents the pinnacle of stopping power for your vehicle, engineered with advanced brake technology to combat brake fade and maintain optimal pad performance through continuous cooling and surface refreshment. This kit features an extreme, lightweight SuperComp caliper forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It boasts a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than ProComp calipers, weighing just over 7 lbs each. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and rigidity over OEM setups, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Each caliper in the SuperComp series utilizes four brake pads. The 2-piece floating disc assembly included in the SuperComp systems reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This design also prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional designs. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler than slotted rotors, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use.
