The forged steel control arm is built with a reinforced ball joint head and thicker cross-section for added strength.

The Mevotech CTXK80669 Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly is part of the TTX line, engineered with cutting-edge technology for superior strength and durability. Key features include patented sintered bearings for longer-lasting performance and a patented sealing ring that ensures a superior seal by locking the boot onto the ball joint housing. The control arm itself is constructed from forged steel with a reinforced ball joint head and a thicker cross-section for enhanced durability. It also incorporates upgraded rubber bushings with knurling to secure the control arm bushing to the sub-frame and a larger sphere design for optimized performance. Installation is made faster and easier with Mevotech's innovative Labor Saver designs. The ball joint is secured with a part-specific slotted castle nut and an easy snap cotter pin, and a 90-degree SAE grease fitting is included for simple servicing. Fasteners are kept secure and vibration-resistant thanks to pre-applied Nylok thread adhesive. The Repel-TEK surface treatment helps prevent rust build-up for a longer service life. It is compatible with various models including: 2007-2014 Cadillac Escalade ESV, 2007-2013 Chevrolet Avalanche, 2007-2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2007-2014 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2007-2014 GMC Yukon XL 1500, 2013-2016 GMC Sierra 1500 (w/o aluminum steering knuckles), 2015-2017 Chevrolet Tahoe (with Police Package), 2007-2014 Cadillac Escalade, 2007-2013 Cadillac Escalade EXT, 2007-2014 Chevrolet Suburban 1500, 2007-2012 GMC Sierra 1500, 2007-2014 GMC Yukon, and 2013-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (w/o aluminum steering knuckles).
