CONTROL UNIT, NAVPILOT 711C

The Furuno NavPilot 711C Control Unit (FAP7011C) is a sophisticated autopilot system designed for a variety of marine vessels. It features a sunlight-viewable color day/night graphic display and utilizes a self-learning and adaptive software algorithm to maintain optimal course-keeping. This system dynamically adjusts essential parameters such as vessel speed, trim, draught, tide, and wind effects, continuously optimizing its performance. Key features include SAFE HELM and POWER ASSIST modes, which enhance steering comfort and control (these modes require the optional FPS8 Power Steering Module and an appropriate HRP Pumpset). Additionally, the NavPilot 711C incorporates a unique "FishHunter mode," enabling the vessel to perform specific maneuvers (square, zigzag, circle, orbit, spiral, or figure-eight) around a designated target at a user-selected distance, which can also be utilized for Man Overboard (MOB) situations. The unit is designed for easy integration with other Furuno navigation equipment like the NavNet 3D and FI-50 Instrument series through a Plug and Play CAN bus interface.
