The IBR Flex Fuel Sensor Kit provides a method to data log and monitor the ethanol content of your fuel on compatible Subaru vehicles. This kit features a proprietary controller that simplifies installation and enhances reliability by generating its own onboard 12V power supply, eliminating the need for a 12V connection from the rear O2 sensor, a common failure point. The analog output is properly referenced to the ECU's 5V supply, ensuring accurate and consistent data. The controller is housed in a potted, durable construction with a solid pin connector for increased longevity. Included in the kit are a Continental Flex Fuel Sensor, a custom wiring harness that can be detached for simpler troubleshooting, fuel lines compatible with both 2008-2021 STi and WRX models, a sensor bracket, and the controller. This kit works with all fuel management systems, but the vehicle must be tuned specifically to run flex fuel. It is important to note that this kit (IBR-FLX01-GRFA) is not compatible with the Cobb Greenspeed update. Additionally, due to limited TGV plugs on these Subaru models, you can only run a maximum of two of the following kits simultaneously: Secondary Injection Controller, Flex Fuel Sensor, and Fuel Pressure Sensor kits. Utilizing all three requires a custom harness to wire the Secondary Injection Controller for power only.
