TCI 9", 10" and 11" Drag Race Torque Converters are suitable for applications up to 750 horsepower, primarily for bracket race or street/strip use. Stall speeds vary, averaging 3800-4500 RPM for 9" and 10" converters, and 3000 RPM for the 11" version. Key features include furnace-brazed and reinforced fins for increased durability, needle bearings to reduce drag and increase thrust capacity, and three sets of Torrington bearings (replacing OEM thrust washers) to triple thrust capacity. It also features hardened steel pump hubs for improved strength and longevity, and high-load sprags for consistent stall. Ballooning plates (on 9" and 10" only) double strength for transbrake/power adder use, and a 360° Steel mounting ring (on 9" and 10" only) strengthens the flexplate mounting area.
