Overview

The TCI Automotive 11 Inch Drag Race Converter is a torque converter designed for the Chevrolet Powerglide transmission. This converter features furnace-brazed and reinforced fins for increased durability and needle bearings to reduce drag while increasing thrust capacity. It also includes three sets of Torrington bearings, which triple the thrust capacity compared to OEM converters. The hardened steel pump hub enhances strength and longevity, and high load sprags ensure the stator stays locked for consistent stalling.
