Description

This TCI PRO-X Drag Race Torque Converter is designed for extreme horsepower applications (500+ c.i., 2500+ horsepower, 3500 RPM) including multi-stage, nitrous-assisted, supercharged, and twin-turbocharged engines. It is suitable for most GM, Ford, and Chrysler transmissions and can bolt up to either six or four-bolt mounting flanges. The 9" and 10" PRO-X Torque Converters feature a proprietary metallic gray HDT Coating for lower operating temperatures and faster cool-down. It boasts a bulletproof, hand-built steel stator, a billet mounting ring, and three sets of heavy-duty internal bearings. The turbine and pump assembly are furnace-brazed and hand-brazed for durability.
