CONV TURBO 8" C 150+

The 8" Drag Race Torque Converter is TCI's best-selling race converter, suitable for most drag cars up to 7500 RPM. It's used in Bracket Racing, Super Gas, Sand Dragging, and Stock Eliminator. Most models feature a cast steel stator with an oversized cage bearing for reliability. Current models have an improved housing design for less flex or ballooning, leading to more consistent elapsed times, faster reaction times, and better durability. Features include furnace-brazed fins, three sets of Torrington bearings for triple thrust capacity, increased strength of high-load sprag assemblies, steel ballooning plates, and a forged steel front. Designed for low RPM/high torque.
