The Spicer 2-1153 is a conversion universal joint that facilitates the transition between different driveshaft series. Specifically, it converts a 1350 series universal joint with outside snap rings to a GM 3R series with inside 'C' clips. This U-joint is designed for use with Saginaw S44 and Spicer 1350 series components. Constructed with a greasable design, the 2-1153 features a lube fitting located in the cross for easy maintenance, ensuring regular lubrication for extended service life. The bearing cap diameters measure 1.125 inches for the GM 3R series (Dimension C) and 1.188 inches for the 1350 series (Dimension D). The lock-up dimensions are 2.556 inches for the 3R series (Dimension A) and 3.622 inches for the 1350 series (Dimension B). This universal joint is also known by cross-references such as Precision 447, Rockford K3162, MOOG Driveline Products 447, and Spicer 5-3205X. It is a direct replacement for Neapco part number 2-1153.
