Description

The WFCO WF-8740-AD is a 40-amp, three-stage converter charger designed for RVs. It features Auto-Detect technology, which automatically identifies and adjusts to either lithium-ion or lead-acid battery chemistries for optimal charging.

This converter provides three charging modes: a 13.2V DC float mode, a 13.6V DC absorption mode, and a 14.4V DC bulk mode for quick charging. It includes protections against short circuits, reverse polarity, over-current, over-temperature, and over-voltage. The unit operates on 105-130 VAC input at 60 Hz and offers six AC circuits (one main and five branch) and six DC circuits.
