It's a direct-fit bolt-on replacement designed with OE-style hangers, brackets, routings, and heat shields to ensure the check engine light remains off for emissions codes due to its OE-style wash coat and optimal precious metal load. The unit features thick OE-style flanges, hangers, and brackets for enhanced durability, and aluminized heat shields (where originally equipped) to protect the undercarriage. It is backed by Walker's 25,000-mile/40,000-kilometer emissions and 50,000-mile/80,000-kilometer structural integrity limited warranty. The body is made of stainless steel with a round shape, measuring 4.125 inches in height and width, and 7.500 inches in length. It has a single 3-bolt welded flange inlet and a single 2-bolt welded flange outlet with an outside diameter of 2.250 inches. The overall length is 35.500 inches, and it uses ceramic substrate material.
