The Walker Ultra EPA Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter (Part No. 53832) is designed for OBDII vehicles (1996 and newer) and complies with EPA emissions requirements. It features a direct-fit bolt-on design with OE-style hangers, brackets, routings, and heat shields for easy installation without requiring specialized fabrication or welding. The converter is engineered with an OE-style high-technology wash coat and optimal precious metal load to reduce tailpipe emissions and help keep the check engine light off for emissions codes. It boasts a strong and durable construction with thick OE-style flanges, hangers, and brackets. When originally equipped, aluminized heat shields match the OE design to protect the undercarriage from converter-generated heat. This product is not legal for sale or use in CA, CO, & NY, and is legal in ME on EPA Federal Emission Equipped Vehicles only.
