The BMW Genuine Parts 17117573751 is a coolant expansion tank, also known as an antifreeze fluid reservoir. This part is designed for E85/E86 Z4 models, including the 2.5i, 3.0i, and 3.0si Coupe and Roadster variants manufactured between 2003 and 2008. It is compatible with vehicles equipped with the M54 or N52 engine and fits both manual and automatic transmissions. This expansion tank supersedes BMW Part Number 17137514401. While this is an aftermarket part from Febi-Bilstein, it closely follows the original design and uses similar materials, often carrying the same TUV approval as OEM counterparts. It comes with a two-year warranty, matching Genuine BMW and OEM brands. Important fitment notes: The coolant level sensor is sold separately and must be acquired in addition to this expansion tank. It is recommended to consult BimmerWorld's recommended items for compatible sensors.
