The Sinister Diesel Coolant Filtration System is engineered to protect your 6.4L Powerstroke engine by removing harmful contaminants from the coolant. Coolant quality can degrade due to casting sand, metal shavings, or rust, even in new engines, which can diminish the effectiveness of your water pump, oil cooler, and EGR cooler. This filtration system ensures optimal performance and longevity of these critical components. Constructed from CNC machined billet 6061 aluminum with an anodized finish, the filter boss is designed for durability and corrosion resistance. It attaches to a supplied bracket that utilizes factory mounting holes, eliminating the need for any drilling. The kit comes complete with all necessary fittings and high-strength, abrasion-resistant silicone hoses that have been factory tested at twice the recommended radiator cap pressure for reliable, leak-proof connections. Maintenance is simple, with a filter cartridge that can be easily unscrewed for replacement. Sinister Diesel recommends replacing the first filter at 500 miles, the second and third filters at 3,000 miles each, and subsequent filter replacements annually. The system includes a genuine Wix filter and comes with a one-year warranty. This coolant filtration system is specifically designed for 2008-2010 Ford Powerstroke 6.4L F-250 Super Duty models.
