Description

The Gates 52427 is a premium modular coolant hose. It is engineered with specific materials that resist collapse under vacuum and electrochemical degradation, which is a leading cause of hose failure. The hose features an EPDM tube and synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, with a heat-, ozone-, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover.

This hose is manufactured with OEM-exact components, including a female quick connector. It meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 standards and has a temperature range of -40 Deg. F to +257 Deg. F. Gates recommends replacing clamps with each new coolant hose installation and advises that this hose is not for fuel or oil transfer applications.
