Over time, cooling system parts can become worn and brittle, leading to potential issues. This hose plays a vital role in rerouting coolant as needed. Its primary function is to connect the engine's cooling system to the coolant reservoir tank. When the engine heats up and coolant expands, this hose transports the excess coolant to the reservoir. Conversely, as the engine cools, the hose allows coolant to flow back into the radiator from the reservoir, ensuring the engine maintains the correct coolant level and preventing overheating. URO Parts are manufactured by California-based A.P.A. Industries LLC, offering over 7,000 replacement parts for European vehicles. Each URO Part undergoes rigorous laboratory testing to ensure it meets or exceeds OE standards for fitment, function, and durability. They are manufactured in ISO/IATF 16949 QMS certified facilities. This specific hose is a direct replacement for BMW part numbers 11531287651, 17128651298, 17127601859, and 17127601850. It is designed for use with 1988+ BMW cooling systems, specifically fitting models such as the E30 325i (1988+), E28 528e (1988), and E34 525i (1989-1990) with the M20 engine. It can also be used in a conversion for the 1987 cooling system to the late 1988 E30 configuration.
