Description

The Dorman 924-5516XD is a coolant level sensor designed to replace the original equipment on certain Mack trucks. The factory sensor's design is prone to failure, leading to inaccurate readings and potential engine limp mode, causing costly downtime.

This Dorman OE FIX solution offers an improved design with a larger magnetic float sweep area for more accurate coolant level detection. It features a rugged stainless steel shaft potted with epoxy to prevent coolant ingress, and includes a separate harness for simplified installation without the need to index the OEM sensor. This helps drivers and fleet managers avoid unnecessary truck downtime and potential engine damage.
