Description

This complete kit provides everything needed for installation, with the exception of a mounting bracket, which is available separately for specific applications like the Cobalt and Ion Redline. The primary function of the Option B kit is to facilitate air removal. It ensures that coolant consistently flows out of a small line, feeding the Option B's overflow bottle. Any air purged from the system collects at the top of this bottle, while air-free coolant drains from the bottom and returns to the intercooler pump and heat exchanger(s). This continuous circulation and separation process helps maintain optimal performance and prevent air pockets. ZZPerformance offers specific mounting brackets for the Cobalt and Ion Redline vehicles, available for separate purchase. Detailed installation instructions, including diagrams and GM-specific guides for the Dual Pass and Option B kits, are provided digitally and can be accessed via links on the product page.
